I haven't participated in the mod forum due to things that was going on in my personal life this past summer as my boyfriend and I were going through a hard period in our lives when our pet cat was diagnosed with a cancerous cyst that was found under her tongue and we did all we could to give her the best care for as well our vet, but she was in the quality of life stage as the vet had stated to us. The cancer was malignant and her condition worsened in early September as she had lost a lot of weight, stopped eating, and had a hard time drinking water, so we had to do the humane thing so she wouldn't suffer anymore. Our cat was still fairly young (8 yrs. old) when she passed away.
How do Elite Members/Mods appeal for their deleted scans? It looks like the section in forums for Deletion Appeals is mainly used by regular members. I apologize in how I worded my last message and didn't mean for it come out the way it did, it's just stressful when the scans you submit get deleted after spending time looking over the scans yourself and selecting the ones you feel is the best quality to share in the gallery.
I do want to be able to contribute to MT in any way I can, one thing I want to suggest is having a Top Favorite Anime, Characters, Manga-ka, and Studios section for profiles where members can select 10 for each. It's something I was thinking about in how bring something new to MT.
I apologize for late reply, I don't have access to Internet in my computer and writing long messages in phone is really difficult.
I'm sorry to hear that, I wish your cat didn't feel too much pain in her last days. It really saddens us when pets - someone who don't ask anything selfishly, a family member who asks nothing but love and care gets sick and lose life. :(
Elite members can still make deletion appeal, or you can ask Hakaru for reasons of deletion as she's the one who deleted it. Even after being 100% sure about something to upload we sometimes miss something and that leads to deletion.
Also you can post your this idea to Sheqel's thread while he's still working on new version.

There should be some reason behind the deletion. If you disagree with deletion you can make a deletion appeal regarding it.And on side note: You're an Elite, Minayuri.
